Terms & Conditions

1) Age Restriction:

To place an order with Crystal Images you must be 18 years or older

2) Payments:

  1. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Debit Card and EFT payments through the secure Payfast payment portal.
  2. Should you wish to pay by EFT from your own bank account then choose this option on our payment page and you will be issued with a Pro-Forma invoice. Once payment is received we will issue a tax invoice and your delivery/collection will be processed. It generally takes 3-4 days after payment for the processing of your order. You will be contacted when your order is ready for delivery/collection. Orders that are not completed and paid for within 5 working days will be voided from our system.

3) Product colour presentation:

Because our products are décor products the colour of the product is important therefore we try as much as possible to present product colours as accurately as possible. However, due to the fact that each computer monitor presents colour slightly differently the colour of the delivered product may differ slightly from the product that appears on the website. We do not see this as a defect and therefore the product cannot be returned for this reason.

4) Availability of products:

All products displayed on the website are in stock and ready for delivery. We try as much as possible to keep the products updated. However, some products may become unavailable due to high demand and therefore may not be available to you. Should this occur we will inform you immediately and you will be refunded in full for your purchase.

5) Privacy Policy:

  1. All your personal details will be treated with the utmost respect and confidentiality and will be kept secure at all times. Your details will not be shared with any third party whatsoever and deliveries will be done by our own drivers therefore your detail will be completely safe. Your payment details will also be secure as they will be on the Payfast secure portal.
  2. Please note that by registering an account on our website you will receive newsletters and promotions from time to time. Should you not wish to receive said correspondence then you can click  “unsubscribe” at the bottom of the letter and you will be unsubscribed from any further contact

6) Returns:

  1. All our products are checked thoroughly before delivery and therefore should arrive in good condition.
  2. The goods must be thoroughly checked on delivery/collection by a responsible person. Should the item be broken or damaged then it should be returned immediately with our driver. Once goods are signed for and the driver has left your premises then no returns will be entertained as you have signed that the goods were in an acceptable condition and that you are happy with it/them.
  3. Please note that because our goods are handmade there may be small imperfections that cannot be avoided we would appreciate it if you could take this into account when checking the items.
  4. Items with cracks, chips, dents and scratches will be exchanged without question and replaced within 3 to 4 working days of the return.
  5. Goods that are collected by a third party should be checked on collection and signed for that the goods are in good condition. Damage during transport by a third party is at buyers risk. We are not responsible for the replacement of goods transported by third parties.

7) Warranty of products:

  1. All goods come with a one year warranty on the springs, working mechanisms and structure. It is at the discretion of Crystal Images as to whether the item has been looked after in a reasonable fashion and that the item is a genuine warranty claim. The item will be examined by the management and a decision will be taken as to the replacement of the item in question. The replacement will not be unreasonably withheld if the item is a genuine case for a warranty replacement.
  2. Goods that are subjected to unreasonable abuse such as being left in the sun and rain, installed above a bath or in a very hot or cold environment, jumped on and generally misused and have thus become damaged e.g peeling, warping, cracking etc. will not be considered defective and will not be replaced.

8) Deliveries:

  1. Deliveries take place from Mondays to Fridays from 9am to 4pm.
  2. You will be contacted as to the day of delivery when your order has been processed. Because we have several deliveries per day exact times and dates of delivery will be challenging, however, we will try to the best of our ability to accommodate a requested time and day.  This cannot be guaranteed as there are other factors beyond our control that may occur during the course of a delivery day.
  3. A house/apartment address must be supplied we cannot deliver to a PO Box
  4. If you are not at the arranged delivery address at the arranged delivery time and delivery cannot take place then an additional delivery cost will apply as we will need to return to you on another day. Please note that should the delivery be delayed due to your unreasonable refusal to co-operate with our delivery schedule then your order will be cancelled and you will be refunded the value of your order less the delivery cost.
  5. It is your responsibility to make sure that the product is sufficient and suitable to your needs. No buyers remorse will be entertained so please make sure that the product is exactly what you require.
  6. A standard delivery fee of R690 for Jhb and Pta applies.
  7. Self collection is for the buyers account.
  8. The product is intended to be used strictly in accordance with the supplied installation instructions. Damage or problems caused due to incorrect installation will be at buyers risk. Instructions will be supplied and it is up to you to follow them correctly. No products damaged during the installation process will be replaced.
  9. Should you wish us to install your products then an installation fee of R250 per item will apply. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse installation should it be in a hazardous position that may endanger the lives of our staff. Mirrors can be installed at normal height e.g above a sideboard, in a bathroom etc. We cannot install mirrors on double volume walls where reasonable access is not available. We will check with you at the time of delivery and should the installation prove to be problematic then we will refund the installation fee charged.
